With Our Own Two Hands

In a world of infinite good and glory, how is it possible that one can fall into destitution and darkness?

It may be that one is responsible for the magnitude of our problems and the deficiencies of our own efforts.

Complaining that power and responsibility are in the malicious hands of somebody other than ourselves.

To be a slave in the shackles of our own delusion.

Or neglecting to till and sow the human soul and spirit.

To starve in the famine of our own inaction.

Living so desperately demanding the fruit of prosperity and divinity be gifted.

A deservingness that has gone completely unearned.

This fruit can only be borne when the land has been touched, the stones moved and the rot burned.

Then you will see that the heavens will come and shine their light down on all that is possible and beautiful.

But it can only be done with our own two hands.
