Mental Reboot

The mind is the set of faculties including cognitive aspects such as consciousness, imagination, perception, thinking, intelligence, judgement, language and memory, as well as noncognitive aspects such as emotion and instinct. In essence, it is a complex system that accounts for more than what most care to understand.

Nonetheless, we attribute a great deal of our human success to what this system can achieve. But it is not perfect. The mind can suffer from glitches and when performing certain operational tasks, it can easily lead itself to the wrong path, get trapped in neurotic loop cycles, and ultimately be self-destructive.

When system operations are dysfunctional, it's reasonable to assume that the framework has become unstable. Instability can occur for the most part when data enters our system in the form of malware or when certain programs are no longer capable of performing to the demands needed.

In order for our mind to function in ways that lead us to a life of deep meaningful connection; we must perform benchmark tests, reorganize the components that make up the mind, uninstall unnecessary data, clear the mind of psychological viruses and update our programs to meet the demands of the environment.

We must also come to understand that the mind is only one component of many that contribute to an even greater system. One of being. In order for this to occur we must start with an intent or vision as to what we want this system to be.

To have such a vision is to have full access to our human potential. Now we must ask ourselves this. What higher purpose does the mind intend to serve towards? The answer will lead us to rebooting the system.
