Feedback, Not Failure

View all interactions as a learning experience. Success with socializing says nothing about who you are as a person, any more than any other skill. There is no correlation. By letting go of concerns about the outcome, it makes it fun, which makes it more likely to work (no bad sub-communication). And then you get success, confidence, it builds a loop. No hesitation. The more you hesitate before approaching, the more contrived it will seem when you finally do. Downplay. You could be in a war zone right now; we’re just talking to some people. Life is ticking away.
