Blindspots

Everyone in one form or another has a blindspot. They distort the reality in which we live in and provide us with a fantasy that we choose to subjugate ourselves to. They have a negative impact on our means of expression and disable us from achieving deep meaningful connection. They black out and suppress our intuition and awareness to variables both internally and externally. We black certain variables out because the truths that we so desperately seek to run from are highly identified with and are a reflection of the nature of our current being. This is trauma.
We usually are unaware that these blindspots exist as they are aspects of unconscious thought. But when they emerge into consciousness, we lack the will to overcome the intensity of such highly emotionally charged energy. When we do not seek to understand aspects of our trauma and allow healing to occur, we only provide our insecurities to be further reinforced. Leading us astray from our true human potential and forming an identity made up of the lowest common denominator.
When blindspots occur, we usually express ourselves through a persona. Being fake. Don't be one dimensional. It may be easy to hide behind a facade, but we can easily become dependent on a front that provides nothing in return. Seek balance within. We can be too harsh or be taken advantage of when equilibrium is not met. We become too aggressive or too flat.
If we develop blindspots, we don't get feedback loops to keep us on track in life. To keep us socially well adjusted. Remember that blindspots are created by pain and those experiences develop a fear of further pain and alienation. One has to realize that not looking at the big picture or lacking the ability to see a clear vision of the world around us, is to be soulless. One must constantly be reminded that “this could hurt.” We must overcome this fear of pain and embrace the path to action, as this will bring us closer to a world of connection.
